The National Cancer Institute in the U.S. estimates the number of new cancer cases will reach 26 million by the year 2030. Macmillan Cancer Support, a non-profit organization in Britain dedicated to treating cancer patients, forecasts the number of people in the UK who will get cancer during their lifetime will increase to nearly half the population by 2020. According to the American Cancer Society, after accidents, cancer is the second leading cause of death in children ages 1 to 14 .About 1 in 190 children younger than 15-years-old were expected to die from cancer in 2017. These statistics are alarming, and lead us to wonder why exactly cancer is on the rise?
Variables like genetics and lifestyle are big determinants of why someone may develop cancer. However, another major determinant involves repeated exposure to toxic chemicals hidden in our everyday lives. Chronic, long-term exposure stresses our body's detoxification mechanisms — liver, kidneys and lymphatic system — damages DNA, disrupts our hormone balance and increases our likelihood of developing cancer and diseases like Alzheimer's.
In this class, we will explore these hidden culprits and offer methods of eliminating them from our lives. We will discuss the following:
-List of toxic chemicals to avoid in household cleaners, personal hygiene products and cosmetics
-List of toxic food ingredients and how toxic chemicals infiltrate our food supply
— Bisphinal A (BPA) and other producers of xenoestrogens
-Aspartame and other dangerous excitotoxins found in food and beverages
-Common heavy metals, carcinogens and even prescription drugs found in tap water
-How common items like anti-bacterial soap, scented candles, aluminum foil and non-stick cookware harm us
-Solutions for eliminating most of these toxins from our daily lives
This is a FREE class open to all. Once you reduce these common toxins, you may be amazed to discover how much better you look and feel! Don't miss a great opportunity to learn how to improve your overall health!
